so, for a topic that i know for sure that Hijikata and Ono both spent years debating (so that's how it's related to the butoh thread... :^) ) i was wondering what all y'alls thoughts are on that one? plus it also addresses the question of "what is an appropriate topic for a butoh discussion thread?" if life and art are intertwined, where/when/how do we distinguish one from the other? i know, it's a bit of a chicken or the egg debate, but i always enjoy the dances that come out of these questions...because isn't that what these answers all are eventually, our own dances of life? or maybe vice versa???
