I got this email and wanted to pass it on. Dear Students, It is with great regret that I inform you of Diego’s recent visa difficulties. For the past 11 years, Diego has been granted annual visas that permit him to teach and perform in the US as an artist of unique, cultural value. We anticipated the same for 2009 and scheduled numerous workshops, performances, lectures, and events across the US. Unfortunately, the visa for 2009 has been denied due to technicalities. This means that Diego is not currently permitted to enter the US and must cancel these engagements. We deeply apologize for all inconvenience this has caused and share in everyone’s disappointment. We are working with immigration lawyers to remedy this situation as soon as possible and fully expect Diego’s visa status to be positively re-evaluated. We hope to bring Diego back to the US in autumn but must wait for proper permission. Diego greatly appreciates your continued support throughout this difficult circumstance. Thank you for your patience and consideration. Currently Diego is offering 3 weeklong intensives in Mexico for those who wish to continue training. **New students who have not previously studied with Diego should submit the info as requested below but write in greater detail about your background and intentions.
