  i don't know of any... a little tough in the summer. bare bone butoh had a show last night and tonight as well. maybe shinichi might be having a workshop? most likely you'll have to hang at tama-san and hiroko restaurant in noe valley to get a little dose of abuse. they still have he country station in the mission, but they're not there. i'm with my family up 50min north of SF, if you are interested in the wine country.

    Shinichi Iova-Koga is holding a workshop next week or thereafter as part of the Dancer's Group Summer workshops. Look up Dancer's Group and you'll find out everything you need to know.
    
    Also, not considered butoh, but (and I hate to say that but...) Anna Halprin will also teach a two-day workshop that is extremely informative for anyone wanting to explore and develop their creativity.
