  You collected quite a few little known fact about the dependency of Japanese butoh in Western art. You are showing that we are totally justified using butoh as a springboard to pursue the Western art directions - such as expressionism and surrealism, which have been processed and revived by the Japanese.
  
  When I tell completely uninitiated people about butoh - i say "a style of expressionist modern dance". That way they can pull on some strings in their knowledge of art.
